Entry 1: 10/27/11:
I have no problem with being being anti-social in social situations. Ok...maybe a small problem. But not really a problem. Anyway the point is if you want to be antisocial and wrapped up in your device/gadget of your choice at the dinning table that is fine. What also is fine is if a topic of conversation makes one uncomfortable for one reason or another one has the right to ask if the conversation could move on. For example, I have a problem with rape jokes because rape is never funny and I sadly have to many friends who have been victims of it so it gets me pissed. My point is it is good to repsct other people. However, if you are not contributing to the conversations at all for an hour of sitting at the table, then one person makes a remark about cheese which isn't remotly offensive in the conext of having 10 minutes ago having a conversaion on vaginas. (I guess it is all about selective hearing), this person being antisocial really has no right to say we can't talk about something. further more, if you want to be antisocial in the first place and the conversation upsets you, one would reason you would be better off at a table alone. I know it is not a big issue, just a little pet peeve. that's it for now....signing off!
Entry 2: 11/1/11
So I thought I'd be doing onee of these everyday but I guess not. More of when the mood strikes me or when something happens during the day that makes me think of something. Today i want to talk about stupid people: the ignorant arrogant people in the world. These are people who are anarchists and fascists at the same time. I'm talking about the people who feel they can do whatever whenever they want with no consequences but don't want other people to also be ablt eot do what they want. This involves a slightly traumatic experience of mine and it explains why this semester i may be off, more anxious and distratcted lately:
